Throughout the world, depending on the language, “Baba” means either “ancestor” or “father”. Baba Tree is the ancestor tree, the living wisdom passed on through generations, offering timeless clarity and guidance for people in search of a better way of living today. Baba Tree is international, as its wisdom has many cultural lineages, and its message is for all people who wish to live together peacefully, productively, and harmoniously.
Baba Tree International is committed to:
- raising public awareness about the value and effectiveness of the practices of peace and nonviolence in meeting human needs for stable, harmonious, productive leadership, groups, and societies;
- providing trainings in peace, nonviolence, mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication, and other life-enhancing skills
- sponsoring individuals and groups, youth and adults, from a diverse array of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, to participate in programs provided by Baba Tree International with a particular intention to build peaceful international relations;
- offering consultations on peace and nonviolence practices to individuals, families, communities, and organizations
