Reena Ginwala

Reena Ginwala is a social entrepreneur, a mediator, a healer and an author. She lives in  Dharamshala; in the Himalayas; in close vicinity of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The energy of compassion is palpable in the air… it’s a blessing.
She has a lifelong interest in the wisdom of the 15th century Sufi mystic weaver poet Kabir from Central India.  Her integration and practice of Nonviolent Communication as a Consciousness, a process and tool for compassionate communication helps her live her purpose of ‘Being’ Peace, hold Community with care and hope, facilitate Conflict Reconciliation as a Mediator and offer her Presence for Grief and Mourning. She is a keen learner and committed to deepen her understanding  of radical ways to honour DEI, Trauma-informed processes and unpack Power and Privilege to nurture new possibilities to bring social change and systemic change.
At a personal level, she celebrates her deepest transformation and growth as a single parent to 3 daughters who are now 40, 34 and 33 years of age. As a family they live by the principles of courage, stepping into the complex realities of our world with a sense of oneness and interdependence as a foundation for our collective well-being. Her mission and hope is to transform intergenerational trauma into intergenerational resilience!
